Restoration of an 1826 Cast-Iron Bridge

Following the total collapse of this historic cast-iron bridge after it was struck by a falling tree, the surviving sections were painstakingly recovered from the lake, identified and assessed for repair. Working with specialist iron founders, seven panels were recast and twelve repaired before the bridge was completely reconstructed on site, retaining its remarkable original dovetail and cast-iron wedge construction.

Kitchen Extension With A Difference

A challenging site transformed into a striking contemporary kitchen and living space. Substantial excavation, reinforced concrete retaining structures and complex structural works created the foundations for a dramatic glazed extension, combining modern design with the character of the original property.
